Denon DJ Officially Introduce the SC5000

Denon DJ is back! They've been teasing us for some time with their mysterious #changeyourrider hashtag hints on social media, but the cat is now finally out of the bag. Denon DJ have officially announced their DJ SC5000 tabletop, and by doing so, are taking on the big players in the higher DJ segment. Slowly but surely, we're finding out more about this sweet piece of equipment.

What do we know so far?

It goes without saying that any and all information we have so far about the Denon DJ SC5000 is subject to change, but we speculate the specs might look something like this:

• 8 function knobs for setting cues, loops, rolls, and slicers
• display on the jog wheel
• built-in slip mode
• loop encoder
• display with waveforms, beat grid, track information, and more
• censor/reverse button
• sync and master functionality
• adjustable pitch range and pitch bend
• beat jump
• USB, SD and network connections
