Whilst that's never been discovered, its musical equivalent has! The Philosopher's Tone Micro gives you the same award-winning, noiseless, clean sustain and optical compression as the original pedal in a more compact format.

The original pedal is famous for its noiseless, clean sustain that helped it to stand out among all the other compression pedals on the market. This micro version has four control knobs (Volume, Sustain, Treble and Blend) and a stomp switch. While the first two controls are self-explanatory, it's worth going into a little more detail on the last two. The Treble control lets you cut or boost up to 6db at 2KHz so that you can fine-tune the frequency response of the effect. With Blend, you can mix the compression with your original signal for a more natural pick attack and a sound that is more musical when the sustain settings are extreme. The Philosopher's Tone Micro effects pedal is powered by a 9V adapter.
