Korg Electribe 2 in Red and Blue
The Korg Electribes belong to a series that was launched way back in 1999. Since then, these machines have become increasingly popular, and it's no wonder why: they're true all-rounders! Now, Korg has introduced two new editions of the Electribe 2 in feisty red and royal blue!
Compact powerhouse
These desktop modules are equipped with a comprehensive sound engine, a sequencer and a keyboard with 16 pressure-sensitive pads. A huge selection of effects give the sound an extra layer of professionalism and with the necessary synthesis parameters, you can adjust that sound as radically as you like. The machine works with an adapter, but six AA batteries also provide enough juice to produce a track 'out in the open'.
New, red and blue
Underneath the bonnet, the new blue Electribe 2 and the red Electribe 2 Sampler are very similar, the difference being that the blue Electribe 2 possesses its own integrated sampler. Fervent sound designers will surely get a kick out of that! After listening to the feedback of thousands of Korg users, the brand has equipped these new editions with a v2 operating system which allows pattern-chaining! Also, as an added bonus, there are about 400 patterns available on the Korg website that work with the other Electribes in the series as well.
If you're not familiar with these devices yet, now is the time to consider investing in one. They're comprehensive production workstations with pads, rotary knobs, a touch pad and a display that will enable you to let your creative juices flow!
