Kyser: the King of Capos
Kyser capos are instantly recognisable by their decorative baroque curl and are now available at Bax Music!
Innovative design
In 1974, Milton Kyser had a brilliant idea. He wanted to develop a better capo. Four years later, he was awarded a patent for his revolutionary Quick-Change feature, which allows guitarists to change the capo's position on the neck more quickly and easily than ever before. In 1998, when the demand for Kyser capos became larger, a new factory was built in 1998 in Canton, Texas, USA. To this day, this is still the main headquarters of the Kyser brand. Milton passed away in 2014, but his legacy remains for current and future generations of guitar players to enjoy!
Choices galore
The Kyser motto is "You deserve options", which refers to the enormous variety of capos they offer. There are types specifically for classical, steel-string, and electric guitar. There are also special models that don't cover all the strings, like the Short Cut, which enables you to create alternative tunings. Each capo they offer is also available in a wide variety of colours and prints, including this classy rosewood version.
