Musikmesse 2016: Introducing the D'Addario Micro Soundhole Tuner!
Friday 8 April 2016
Size doesn't always matter, but a bulky tuner can sometimes get in the way. D'Addario's new NS Micro Soundhole Tuner, however, can clamped into your guitar's sound hole.
Always in tune
Any musician with an acoustic string instrument like a steel-string guitar or a ukulele knows that it's a matter of time before your strings go out of tune. While experienced players may be able to solve this problem by ear, many people still prefer to use a tuner. There are clip-on tuners that you attach to the instrument's headstock, but those can look quite ungainly and they're not always very easy to read. Luckily, D'Addario offers a practical alternative with the NS Micro Soundhole Tuner, designed by musicians for musicians!
Easy to use
The concept is very easy. Using a universal clip, you attach the D'Addario NS Micro Soundhole Tuner to the sound hole. Then, the built-in piezo vibration sensor transfers the vibrations in the wood to a corresponding pitch. When you're not using this chromatic tuner, it will automatically switch off after ten minutes. It also features a bright colour display so that even in the dark, you can quickly, accurately and easily get your instrument back in tune!
