Musikmesse 2016: It's Reloop's Birthday and They're Celebrating!
Reloop has been working hard to make life better for DJs for the last twenty years. Now, it's time to celebrate the last two decades of success, with the release of a golden version of the popular RP-7000. And, to make it even better, there's also a golden 20th anniversary cartridge. Together, they make an unforgettable pair that's ready to take on the DJ world by storm.
The RP-7000 direct drive turn table has been enjoying immense popularity, and now you can enjoy all of those features in a nice, shiny Gold edition. The specs are still the same as the regular model, which means you'll get the two start/stop buttons (one on the top and one on the side) so you can also use the device vertically. Of course, it also has an adjustable pitch control, three speeds (33 1/3, 45 en 78 rpm), and a switchable phono/line input. To complete the picture, you can add the limited edition Concorde 20th anniversary cartridge to the mix.

Reloop has also released their Beatmix 4 in a new suit and added the letters MK2 to its name. Again, we're talking about cosmetic upgrades, so the specs have mostly stayed the same. All you have to do to get going is plug the USB cable into your PC or laptop, install the included Serato DJ Intro software, and you're on your way! The two large jog wheels light up, as do the buttons. Sixteen sample pads make it easy to set up cues, make loops, and effects and samples, while the 3-band EQ gives you tons of adjustment options for each of the four channels.
If you like keeping your gear on a short leash and working with a small setup, then you're sure to like the Controller Station stand. This will hold both your laptop and controller (as long as its not more than 360 mm deep), and thanks to the included adapters, it's easy to adjust the width. The Beatmix 4MK2, for instance, will easily fit this aluminium stand, It's ideal if you travel a lot and need an easy compact setup.
