NAMM 2016: Alesis TransActive VU Battery-Powered Speaker
Any time's a good time for a party, and getting one started isn't a problem with the help of some music and party lights. Usually, however, that means you'll have to stay near a wall socket. For those occasions when you find yourself without a readily available power supply, Alesis presents their latest battery-powered speaker, the TransActive VU.
Music on location
The Alesis TransActive VU is a practical portable speaker with a built-in battery that, once it's charged to its full capacity, provides you with music for up to fifty hours. Whether you and your friends are celebrating on the beach or down at the park, that's plenty to keep you going all through the night! Boasting a speaker configuration that consists of an 8" woofer and a 1" tweeter, the TransActive VU is fully equipped to lay down some serious bass grooves.
Light show
What's a party without a bit of festive lighting? Luckily, Alesis fitted the TransActive VU with two LED strips to brighten the mood. Choose a light mode (mood, meter, mix, pulse or party) and make some colour adjustments if you like, and you're good to go.
For active party animals
Sometimes - especially after a couple of drinks - the time suddenly seems right for some karaoke. Thanks to Alesis, there's no need to hold back; grab the microphone that comes with the TransActive VU and get ready to hit those high notes! Playing along with an instrument is also possible (using a line connector), and you can even connect an MP3 player to the speaker's mini jack aux input. Would you rather opt for a more modern option? Streaming your music wirelessly is no problem thanks to the TransActive VU's Bluetooth functionality.
Do you feel like it's time for a little celebration? With the Alesis TransActive VU battery-powered speaker, there's nothing holding you back!
