Ninja 5RX
With the Ninja 5RX, American DJ shows us once again that it's not just about LEDs. The Ninja 5RX is equipped with a powerful MSD Platinum 5R Philips gas-discharge lamp that can project razor-sharp beams of light with a dispersion angle of just 5 degrees. If you still think this is just a simple effect, keep reading. The Ninja 5RX is built for the heavy stuff. You can control the movement of its light beams with great precision using so-called micro-stepping in the comprehensive DMX mode. The Ninja 5RX is also equipped with a colour wheel with 15 colours and, surprisingly enough, a complete gobo wheel with 17 fixed gobos! We bet you weren't expecting that!
Operating the Ninja 5RX can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. As previously mentioned, you can use DMX, but with 12 built-in shows at your disposal, you can also activate one of its autonomous light shows, or set it up to react to the beat of the music. You can also opt to use American DJ's UC IR remote and the Airstream IR app.
Stinger II & Micro 3D II
American DJ has made a clever decision made the clever decision to release the follow two fixtures as new and improved versions of previously successful effects. The Stinger II doesn't just have all the functions of its predecessor, it has also has enhanced functionality and UV LEDs! That means the compact Stinger II laser is also capable of blacklight. The Micro 3D II has also received a slew of enhancements compared to the original. Its laser beams are even sharper, and you can now operate it using the UC IR remote or Airstream IR app. Incidentally, that goes for the Stinger II as well. What's more, the Micro 3D II can be used as a stand-alone unit, and provides a great light show in either automatic or sound-activated mode. Finally, it's compact for easy transport!
