Interface for PC, Mac and/or iOS
Usually, an audio interface transmits incoming signals to your computer, and that's it. Naturally, the AUDIO2+ is quite capable of performing that task, but it can do more. This audio interface features two USB inputs, so you can connect it to two PCs or Macs, or to a PC/Mac and an iPad. First of all, that means that its two inputs, four line outputs and MIDI IN/OUT are available to both connected devices. But what's more, the included iConfig software allows you to exchange other audio and MIDI channels as well.
Routing audio and MIDI
If you have any experience recording or editing music, you can probably already think of a few practical applications. Connect a MIDI device to one device, for instance, and it's also accessible to the other. You're free to think bigger than that, though; how about routing a DAW track from your Windows computer directly to an iPad app, applying an effect and then sending it straight back to your PC? This opens up a world of possibilities, as there are numerous interesting iOS effect apps that aren't available for Windows or Mac.
In addition to these great new options, you also get the iConnect AUDIO2+'s excellent audio quality and a handy touch-sensitive front panel that enables you to adjust the major settings. A power adapter is sold separately, just in case you'd like to charge your iOS device while it's connected to the interface.
