New DeepMind 12 Synthesizer by Behringer
If the DeepMind 12 looks familiar, that could be because it's been inspired by Roland's popular Juno 106, which was easy to understand and simple to use. Behringer's DeepMind 12 is a 12-voice, analogue synth with a large display, pitch and modulation wheels, and on-board effects. In terms of functionality, it is similar to synths by names like DSI, Roland, Novation, Yamaha, Arturia and Nord. If you're looking for a good analogue synth, the DeepMind 12 deserves serious consideration. While it may be based on the Juno 106, the DeepMind 12 has a lot more possibilities. It seems like there may already even be ideas about making a desktop module of the DeepMind 12.
Have a look and a listen
The people at Sound On Sound magazine have been playing around with a promotional version of the DeepMind 12 for a while now. The video below lets you see and hear it in action and it certainly seems like there are a lot of possibilities when it comes to modulation. Simply put, the DeepMind 12 should not be underestimated.
Of course, you'd like to know when the DeepMind 12 will be available and how much it will cost. Unfortunately, we don't have those details just yet, but we'll update you as soon as we do. Speculation seems to suggest that the DeepMind 12 will be available towards the end of 2016 and that the price will be around 800 pounds. It could even be that Behringer will wait until the winter NAMM in January 2017 to release it officially, but we'll just have to wait and see.
