Reason 11.2 Update
While winter did what winter does, the developers at Reason Studios continued to wax and polish their popular DAW up to version 11.2. Now that it's here, let's take a quick peek at what the improved Reason 11.2 entails.

Let's clear this up first: our product titles will remain Reason 11 because we simply tend to stick to round number software versions. Having said that, let's dive right into the Beat Map Algorhythmic Drummer: a new feature that generates beats based on built-in patterns, algorithms and user input. In addition to this and the squashing of a handful of bugs, there's a new MIDI Out device in the Reason Rack plug-in, from which you can now also carry over MIDI notes from Redrum, Dr Octo Rex and Matrix and place them directly on the timeline in your DAW. Anyway, enough with the talking, there's reason enough to update and get producing!
