Roli Presents Seaboard Block and Touch Block
Roli, who are continually coming up with exciting and ingenious innovations, have come up with something new once again! You're probably familiar with their revolutionary Seaboard and the Blocks range, but now, Roli has combined these two to make the Seaboard Block, and offers the Touch Block as a matching companion.
The Roli Seaboard
When the Seaboard was launched, it was considered a ground-breaking new musical instrument. It's a sort of touchpad that's shaped like a keyboard that enables you to play music with great expression. When you move your finger or apply pressure on the left or right side of the moulded keys, you can produce expression and intonation similar to the technique used on a violin.
Seaboard Block component
The new Seaboard Block is essentially the same product, but then in Blocks size. This means you can easily put the Seaboard in your backback along with your other Block modules and expand your MIDI controller on location. Connect multiple Seaboard Blocks together to create a larger keyboard than the standard 24-note model.
Touch Block component
You can adjust certain settings on the Seaboard such as touch-sensitivity, and because the Seaboard Block is made up of keys only, you'll need another device to get it to work, namely the Touch Block. You can use both the Seaboard Block and the Touch Block together with the Lightpad Block.
