The Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis Blackouts consist of active pickups made following Jeff's own specs, and inspired by passive high-output humbuckers. As such, the Blackouts are incredibly dynamic, with plenty of output and intensity. The bridge pickup is great for fast riffs, complex chords and fast-paced solo work. Thanks to the outspoken mids, all of your notes will be perfectly audible. The neck pickup has a warmer sound, but shares the same excellent articulation. Where other neck pickups can make longer notes sound muddy, the Jeff Loomis Blackout is always clear.
Jeff Loomis Blackouts are available individually and in sets (consisting of a neck and a bridge pickup), and come in three types: 6-string, 7-string with passive mount, and 7-string with active mount.
