The Clavia Nord Piano 5 - Long Live the Red Monarch
For decades now, the Clavia Nord Piano has been a kind of holy grail for any key-players in the know, and five generations on, it's fair to say that jaws will drop and faces will melt in the potential-packed presence of the stage-beast that is the Clavia Nord Piano 5.
The Clavia Nord Piano 5 - Rich Sound & Red Housing
The fifth-gen presents us with two models: the 88-key version (as seen in the included image), and a 73-key version. The smaller of the two is compact enough for the road, and bears a width that should neatly squeeze into the average boot of an average hatch-back. Besides the key-tally and size, both models come with the same features: an enormous range of piano sounds, a mind-bending bank of synth and sample sounds, and an immense and easily navigated effects section. Evidently stage-ready, these pianos also set you up with a few fresh additions, including two piano-layers and two synth/sample-layers for an even richer, fuller sound, while additional functions include unison, which stacks sounds to effectively build an ensemble, and tru-vibrato which applies a distinctly different vibrato effect to every different instrument - a far more enhanced effect than simply wetting up every instrument with exactly the same simulated fluctuation. Of course, there's more - these are Clavia Nord Pianos - and you can find everything you want to know about them on the product pages included below.
