The New iPad mini 4: Slimmer, Lighter and Faster
Every time Apple introduces a new product, the world watches with bated breath. This year, a lot of Apple gadgets were upgraded, now boasting even more features than their predecessors. Take the iPad mini 4, for instance. According to Apple, it is now slimmer, lighter and faster than ever, and offers a choice of 16, 64 or 128 GB of storage.
Designed to be used
Weighing around 300 grams and only 6.1 millimetres thick, the iPad mini 4 is certainly remarkably lightweight and slim. Great properties for a portable device, of course, but it's the interior that makes the latest iPad really exceptional. A new A8 processor with iOS 9 software speeds up the iPad mini 4's performance by thirty percent, which is great for games and photo editing programs. Additionally, the mini 4 is equipped with a coprocessor that handles information like location, speed and weather, taking some work off the hands of the main processor to enhance power efficiency.
Cameras with loads of options
Naturally, Apple's new tablet is equipped with two cameras. Besides the 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera on the front, there's an 8-megapixel iSight camera on the back that allows you to make panorama photos and time-lapse videos. Thanks to improved Wi-Fi technology, posting your photos online or sending them to your friends takes no time whatsoever. If you come across an app you like while you're surfing the internet, you can safely purchase it using your fingerprint. Touch ID keeps your personal information safe, even after you've put your iPad mini 4 aside.
