We're pleased to announce the addition of yet another new brand in our ever-growing range of products. This time, it's Townsend Labs. Recently, they launched the Sphere L22 large-diaphragm condenser modelling microphone, which allows you to simulate the sound of classic studio microphones you only ever dreamt of recording with!
Sphere L22: ultimate flexibility
With the Sphere L22, your audio will possess the characteristics of legendary microphones with great accuracy. Even after you've laid down your vocals or guitar track, you can change the tonal characteristics or pickup pattern of what you just captured using the Sphere DSP plugin in your DAW. Here, you can adjust any of the characteristics you like: pickup pattern, off-axis correction, pad switch and so forth. As it features a dual capsule, making stereo recordings with the L22 is a breeze; in fact, you can even use two different mics at the same time!
