General

The Sennheiser K6 system is a professional modular microphone system. The shotgun system is often used in various AV productions, but it is well suited for concert registrations, interviews, reporting on location and studio recording as well. The system consists of a series of ME microphone heads that can be screwed onto one of the two power modules: the K6 or K6-P. The difference between both power modules is the way in which they are powered. The K6 can be powered via a phantom power supply or internal battery. The K6-P is a little cheaper and can only be powered via a phantom power supply.
