General
Plectrums from Dunlop’s famous Tortex Standard plectrum series are durable and have a lot of grip. These qualities were the reason that plectrums were originally made from the shells of tortoises. The name ‘Tortex’ is a reference to that past.
Aside from being very hard and durable, the Tortex picks remember your strumming style and grip, so they partially adjust themselves to the way you play. The orange Tortex Standard has a 0.60mm gauge.

Zeer goeie grip en slijtvast! Een enkele opmerking, elke plectrum apart in een plastiek zakje is niet meer van deze tijd, kan even goed in papieren envelopje.

Ik vind dit de perfecte plectrum qua dikte. Hij is gelukkig ook niet glad want anders kan hij wegglijden. Ik had hem als eerst gekocht omdat John Frusciante deze gebruikt, maar ik heb daarna nog vele andere plectrums geprobeerd en deze vind ik toch echt het beste! Zeker een aanrader.
