The CD-500B is a fantastic single CD player that guarantees great audio quality. CD player with slot-in system

The retractable tray is one of the most sensitive parts of a CD player. To make things easier, Tascam has discarded that technology, and replaced it with a practical slot-in system. Simply slide a CD into the drive and a special mechanism carefully grabs the edge without any chance of damage.

A great overview in a compact 19-inch housing

Below the slot-in system of the CD-500B you'll find ten small key pads: buttons that give you direct access to the tracks of a CD. Located on the right of the CD drive is an LCD display, which offers you the necessary information about your settings and the currently playing CD. The blue backlight does not only look very sleek, but provides a nice, practical contrast with the white characters too. The other controls are located on the right-hand side of the CD-500B, just as they are on most players.
