The MG166CX is the same as the MG166C with the difference that the MG166CX has a built-in effect processor.

The MG166CX is an analogue mixer with a high input capacity that delivers perfect sound quality. Not only is this mixer lightweight, but it is also high quality and built to last. Just like most Yamaha tables, the MG166CX has a built-in 1-knob compressor. This makes it easy to amplify incoming signals.

Wrote the following about Yamaha MG166CX live mixer

Ben jij van het type: "If it sounds right, it is right" koop dan deze Yamaha MG166 CX. Alles wat je nodig hebt zit er standaard op: compressie,
fx, subgroepen.
Bovendien is hij flitecase prepared zodat hij er niet alleen bij aankoop schitterend uitziet, maar ook na jaren intensief gebruik.

Wrote the following about Yamaha MG166CX live mixer

Prima mixer kwa prijs kwaliteit!
klinkt goed en voelt degelijk aan, kost iets meer als bijvoorbeeld een behringer maar is het dan ook waart als je het geld hebt.
Wij gebruiken hem op het werk voor theatervoorstellingen en kleine groepjes en dan zijn de effectjes ook wel fijn!
Als je echt groepen wil gaan mixen dan toch kijken naar iets anders.
