Yamaha MG206C Live Mixer

The MG206C is an extraordinarily flexible mixer with twenty inputs divided amongst twelve mono and four stereo channels. Two of the four stereo channels can also be used as mono microphone channels.

Despite the large arsenal of channels, the MG206C is compact and lightweight. The mixer is furnished with a built-in compressor/limiter which ensures better sound quality for, among others, microphone, bass and guitar. There is also a 3-part tone control with high-pass filter available per channel.

Wrote the following about Yamaha MG206C Live Mixer

Ik heb deze mixer gekozen omdat ik geen andere 20 kanaals 19" mixer tegenkwam van een A-merk met zoveel aanstuurmogelijkheden voor o.a. monitoren en effectapparatuur, en voor zo'n schappelijke prijs. Ander voordeel is het geringe gewicht. Ik heb voor Yamaha gekozen omdat ik al een aantal jaren een probleemloos werkende Powered mixer van Yamaha bezit. Als je deze mixer in een 12 eenheden L-flightcase gaat bouwen, moet je het hoekprofieltje aan de voorkant verwijderen, en de mixer helemaal naar voren schuiven, anders gaat je kabeltje naar de adapter onder een hoek van 90 graden staan.... En dan nog moet je eigenlijk allemaal haakse jacks e.d. gebruiken voor de aansluitingen aan de achterzijde. Beter is het om een iets diepere flightcase aan te schaffen. Yamaha had het aansluitpaneel aan de achterzijde beter precies in het midden kunnen plaatsen, op de plaats waar ook het luikje zit bij L-flightcases.
