A single note from the Gretsch G9240 Alligator Round-Neck resonator guitar is enough to send you back through time and space to 1930s America. This painstakingly-designed and authentically built dobro guitar has been graced with a hand-lathed aluminium cone mounted onto a mahogany body. The result is timeless metallic tone backed up by the warm and deep resonance of a wooden build, and here it comes topped off by an old-school Gretsch 1930s headstock with an aged pearloid face. Whether played with a slide or not, this guitar has been built for classic bluegrass and blues.

Prachtige resonator guitar ! Wel even omschakelen van een 'gewone' gitaar naar deze. Ik speelde altijd al blues, maar dit vraagt toch om een andere benadering.. Met instruktie video's op YouTube maak ik met deze Gretsch (naar mijn mening) prachtige Missisippi Delta blues. Prachtig geluid met de vingers, pick en bottle neck !!!
