Features of the American Standard Jazz Bass

This edition of the American Standard Jazz Bass was fitted with Fender Custom Shop '60s alnico 5 single-coil pickups. These are modelled after the original pickups but now provide some more output for extra punch, mids and bass. The High Mass Vintage bridge features the classic looks but has extra mass for a bigger tone and more sustain. What is more, the high-quality Hipshot machine heads are no less than 30% lighter than their predecessors. Additionally, the thinner coat of paint provides that the J-bass' wooden body can breathe and resonate better. The deeper tint of the neck adds to the elegant looks of this amazing classic.

No frets, yet extra tone
