If you want a unique sound, then you'll need a unique instrument, and it doesn't get much more unique than the Yamaha Attitude Limited 3. Built entirely by hand, and bearing a design touched by the legendary hand of Billy Sheehan himself, this masterpiece in bass is part of the Yamaha Music Craft stable. To recreate that typical Billy-grade sound, the neck has been secured to the spline jointed body using Mitre bolting (an advanced version of the standard bolt-on system) to result in an insanely solid yet beautifully resonant foundation, and since the wood and finish of this model have also undergone both A.R.E. and I.R.A. treatments, it quickly responds and adapts to playing style and sound.

The Yamaha Attitude Limited 3: Just the right Pickups

Mounted with a two pickup combo with a custom DiMarzio Woofer at the neck (courtesy of the Yamaha Guitar Development Team), and a DiMarzio WillPower in the middle, this bass is naturally full and potent across the entire spectrum, from high to low, and can be given more shape using the fitted tone and volume controls. The Woofer can be thickened up even further with an extra layer of low-end using the high-cut switch, and another sweet bonus is the D-tuner, literally drop-tuning the E at the flick of a switch. And to finish, the Attitude Limited 3 has been fitted with a dual output, so it can be set up in stereo or mono as needed.
