Packing all of the deluxe detailing and build quality you could ever want from a Duesenberg, the sleek and agile Double Cat features a single cat-eye f-hole, polishing off the throwback-style of the double cutaway body. To build this semi-hollow six-string, a solid block of alder has been carefully milled to carve out the internal sound chambers and topped with a slice of laminated maple, completing the unique sonic character that's been harnessed by some of the big names, including John Mayer, Joe Walsh and Vince Gill.

The Duesenberg Double Cat: The P-90 & PAF Humbucker Team

This electric guitar boasts a classic Duesenberg curated pickup loadout. So, at the neck, we find an infamous Domino P-90 and at the bridge, a juicy GrandVintage humbucker. The P-90 brings fullness, definition and clarity, and as soon as the amplifier gain is pushed a little but, this pup adds a sweetly frayed edge, setting it the sound for crunchy rhythms or laid back solos. The PAF-style dual-coil, meanwhile, provides the thick and meaty output demanded by heavier riff and shredding work. Next to a Saddle Steel Bridge, the Double Cat comes loaded with a Deluxe Tremola tailpiece - one of the most reliable tremolo systems in the business.

Sleek Comfort & Playability

The medium-D neck profile immediately has a tight and snug feel in the fret-hand while the flat, 12 inch radius of the rosewood fretboard combines with a set of twenty-two jumbo frets to keep the playability light and flowing. And, to ensure smooth passage all the way up from the nut to the body, Duesenberg has even given every fret a special PLEK treatment, ensuring every edge is rounded off in all the right places. And that's even before this guitar has undergone a surgically precise setup and the frets have been lovingly finished by a one of Duesenberg's discerning technicians.
