General
When you play the G6136T-59 Falcon Vintage White guitar with Bigsby tailpiece, you're playing a piece of legendary Gretsch craftsmanship that has all the classic characteristics you want. This semi-acoustic guitar has classic 1959 Trestle bracing and luxurious gold-plated hardware and binding. It also comes with a chic matching case included.
G6136T-59: TV Jones
The laminated 3-ply maple body is augmented by a maple neck and a stylish ebony fretboard. In order to amplify this White Falcon's tight, clean sound, it's equipped with two TV Jones Classic pickups that offer the sound of vintage Filter’Trons combined with the popular growl and twang that's synonymous with guitars from this period. The configuration is based on the original 1959 patent designed by Ray Butts and Gretsch.
Gretsch feel and versatility
In order to expand further on the basics this Vintage Select guitar has to offer, the G6136T-59 also has a master volume control for adjusting the volume for each pickup individually as well as the well-known 3-way pickup switch. This instrument is engineered for power and diversity while boasting an authentic Gretsch feel, a 12-inch fretboard and a comfortable U neck profile.
