The Neumann KM 185 hyper-cardioid condenser microphone supports professional use, from playing live shows to recording instruments in the studio. Its extra-small body, low self-noise, high SPL and minimal off-axis colouration make the KM 185 perfect for a wide range of applications, including overhead use. The hypercardioid pickup pattern is frequency-independent and supports excellent rear-rejection at a 120° angle, even at low frequencies.

Ik gebruik deze set voor de geluidsregistratie bij video-opnamen in het theater bij onversterkte voorstellingen. Het resultaat is een helder geluid met een breed frequentiebereik. Door de hypercardioide zeer weinig last van rumoer van publiek. Zeer enthousiast over deze microfoons.
