Yamaha DXR10 and DXS12 active speaker set

Yamaha offers a number of successful products with this DXR/DXS active speakers series. The roots of the DXR/DXS series lie in the DSR series - a successful series of active speakers. This particular set consists of two Yamaha DXR10 10-inch tops and two 12-inch DXS subwoofers, including cabling. All products from the DXS series are finished with extremely high quality and can definitely take a beating!

De DXR10 tops:

The DRX10 is the big brother of the DXR8, and has a frequency range of 56Hz to 20kHZ and 131 dB SPL. It is possible to mount this speaker to a 35mm stand, or to use it as a floor monitor. If you choose the latter option, you can switch modes to minimise the bass so it won't entirely dominate the sound. Do this by changing the D-contour mode.

Characteristics of the DXS 12 subwoofer:

This DXS-12 active subwoofer by Yamaha is especially compact yet incredibly powerful. The subwoofer has a 950W D-class amplifier with a 12-inch woofer, which is placed in an acoustically optimised band-pass housing. The subwoofer has many different export possibilities. For example, via the D-X-Sub low frequency you can reach extreme low-end frequencies from 47 Hz to 160 Hz. You can also choose to add a low-frequency boost or use the Xtended LF feature.

Set contents:

This set consists of two Yamaha DXR10 10-inch tops and two 12-inch DXS subwoofers. Additionally, you get two 3-metre Procab XLR cables and two 10-meter cables for connecting to your PA mixer or mixer. To set the speakers up on top of one another, you also get two American Audio distance rods with adjustable lengths from 82 to 125 cm.
