The 250 Ohm edition of the Beyerdynamic DT880 headphones are compatible with:

Due to their high impedance, these headphones are NOT compatible with portable equipment like smartphones, laptops or USB-powered equipment (for these applications, see the 32 Ohm edition). The 250 Ohm edition of these headphones have sightly improved treble and mid frequency performance, but this feature is no longer apparent when the headphones are connected to low powered equipment.

While every component of these headphones features a durable, hard-wearing build, every part can be replaced - if you need to and, as a nice detail, the raised L and R markings on each ear cup are also in braille.
