General
Sennheiser's HD-25 studio headphones are designed for professional applications. These lightweight headphones have a full frequency range and are perfect for monitoring, broadcasting, recording live or DJing. They have a closed construction that's designed to keep external sounds out. The headband is equipped with the iconic split design and it's possible to turn the ear cups should you only want to listen to one side at a time. The new design helps to keep the ear cups in the right place too, while excellent sound response is guaranteed by the lightweight, aluminium voice coils.
The Sennheiser HD-25s: Complete Studio and DJ Headphones
With a frequency range of 16 to 22,000 Hz, you won't miss any detail when playing music. The HD25s have an impedance of 70 ohms and a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB, so you don't have to worry about the volume either. A 1.5-metre mini jack cable and jack adapter are included too. Whether you're a demanding beginner or a professional, Sennheiser's HD-25 studio headphones won't let you down.

Like others who have left reviews I also ordered on the basis that I was ordering the Special Limited Edition model with the yellow ear pads. I did however receive the standard black version. Which is rather disappointing since I only ordered when I did so as to get the limited edition ones.
However, I'm here to review the headphones, not the false advertising. In that regard I am very happy, while they are not the ones I expected to receive they are still fantastic headphones. Sound quality is excellent at any volume. They are very light, very comfortable and very robust. So for the quality of the headphones absolute 5 star.
Just the slightly bitter taste of not getting exactly what you ordered.
However, I'm here to review the headphones, not the false advertising. In that regard I am very happy, while they are not the ones I expected to receive they are still fantastic headphones. Sound quality is excellent at any volume. They are very light, very comfortable and very robust. So for the quality of the headphones absolute 5 star.

I also ordered this product specifically for the limited offer edition and got the classic edition. My invoice states 'Limited Edition' How do I get a response on the phone? At least send the yellow ear pads as per the offer!

Ik gebruik de Sennheiser HD 25 nu al een tijdje en ze maken zeker waar wat ze beloven. Ze zijn superlicht en comfortabel, waardoor ze zelfs tijdens lange sets nooit zwaar of ongemakkelijk aanvoelen. Het geluid is krachtig en goed gebalanceerd, met diepe bas en heldere hoge tonen die beatmatching moeiteloos maken. Ik ben ook fan van de draaischijf op de oorschelp, wat het makkelijk maakt om snel met één oor te monitoren. Bovendien zijn alle onderdelen vervangbaar, waardoor deze hoofdtelefoon een investering is die jarenlang mee zal gaan. Zeker een must-have voor elke DJ!
