General
Following the overwhelming success of their first synthesizer, the Deepmind 12, Behringer decided to develop and release even more! This is the Model D Synthesizer, which is inspired by their well-known, analogue mini synth. It includes matching transistors and JFETs and can produce those rad sounds youre sure to recognise from the good ole days. This semi-modular synth is a desktop device, but it can also be mounted in a Eurorack for seamless integration with the rest of your gear.
The Model D Synthesizer: All You Need
This analogue synth is equipped with three VCOs that can be squeezed through the 24dB ladder filter. The oscillators feature five waveforms and a pulse width variation. It also offers LFO and a 16-voice polychain as well as low and high-pass filters, an overdrive circuit, and a noise generator! The panel has 46 controls and switches, giving you ultimate control. Are you after a synth with a vintage feel and a great sound for a reasonable price? Then the Behringer D Synthesizer is for you!

The synth sounds rich and warm, just like a real Moog. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Absolute bargain.
Brilliant postage and packing from BAX too.

Monday 11 January 2016The image below recently turned up on the internet. Based on the text and the accompanying specifications, we assume that Casio is trying to lure us to their NAMM booth so they can present their latest keyboard/synthesizer: the MZ-X. This will likely remind keyboard enthusiasts of the MZ-2000, an old Casio model that, considering the words 'Reinvented, Reimagined, Reborn' is apparently about to be brought back to life. Rumour has it that two models will be released, the MZ-500 and the MZ-1000, but take that with a grain of salt; it's very possible that MZ-X is indeed the final name for this workstation.
