The Dave Smith OB-6 analogue synthesizer module is essentially the same as the keyboard-equipped version, but in a handy-sized retro-style unit. It has the same functionality, the same connectors and the same great sound. Just like the synth, this module was developed by Dave Smith and Tom Oberheim. This fully-analogue synth module may have an authentic vintage look and sound, but it also has digital effects on board and modern features like MIDI, USB-MIDI, LEDs and room for hundreds of presets.

This six-voice polyphonic analogue synth module has two discrete voltage-controlled oscillators, a sub oscillator and a noise oscillator per voice and because they're analogue, they have rich overtones too. Their combined signal is sent to a 12 dB filter (with low-pass, band-pass, high-pass and notch functionality), so you can colour the spectrum. An analogue VCA follows and a comprehensive, studio-grade effects section completes the picture. Along the way, you'll have plenty of possibilities to shape your sound by means of envelopes, LFO, various routing options and real-time controls.
