General

The Shure BLX14-P31 (M17, 662-686 MHz) is a wireless headset microphone that comes in a highly complete package. It's highly affordable, yet still gives you that unrivalled Shure quality. It's excellently suited for public speakers, musicians and virtually anyone that needs to amplify the sound of their voice, but needs to keep their hands free. This set comes with a PGA31 condenser microphone, a BLX4 receiver and a BLX1 transmitter. With the TA4F connector, you can easily connect the microphone to your bodypack transmitter. All that remains is to let the system find an available frequency, and set the transmitter to that same frequency.

PGA31 headset microphone

The headset microphone that comes with this set is Shure's PGA31. It was designed in such a way that it's quite robust and very comfortable at the same time, allowing you to wear it for hours on end. The PGA31 is a wireless condenser headset microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern, meaning it accurately picks up sound sources right in front of it, while suppressing sound from the sides and back. As this leaves little room for feedback, that means you can even use it on a stage with floor monitors.

BLX4 receiver

The BLX4 receiver is an easy-to-use wireless receiver. With a single press of a button, it will automatically search for the best available frequency. All you have to do is set the transmitter to the same frequency and your wireless set is good to go. For optimal signal strength, the antennas of your wireless system should also be properly attuned. However, the BLX4 features internal antennas that are already set-up properly, guaranteeing optimal reception. What's more, you won't have to worry about damaging your aerials during transport, either.

J'avais beaucoup de doute concernant ce type de micro "à petit prix".
j'ai fait le test en alternance avec mon micro à main sans fil Sennheisser (que j'ai payé 600 ) et je ne fait pas la différence.
Il est vrai que je n'ai pas la voix de Franck Sinatra et les oreilles d'un homme de 65 ans.
Mais je suis satisfait.

Wij hebben deze microfoonset samen met de Behringer iNUKE NU1000 en 1 Behringer VP2520.

Deze microfoonset is prettig om te dragen en geeft een prima geluid. Zelfs op vol volume van ons systeem is er geen enkele ruis hoorbaar. Terwijl hier een continuevermogen van 500W RMS inzit en een piekvermogen wat nog veel hoger ligt. Zodat de spreker ook op grote evenementen goed verstaanbaar is.

En voor een totaalprijs van nog geen E500,- hebben we een microfoonsysteem dat zeer professioneel overkomt naar klanten, zowel qua uiterlijk als qua geluidskwaliteit. Bijkomend voordeel is dat de set geheel bestaat uit Duitse topmerken, zodat ook mensen met verstand van audio hem mooi vinden.

Wel een opmerking, voor de aansluiting van de microfoonontvanger naar de versterker is een XLR verlengkabel van een halve meter nodig, omdat de versterkerpoort mannelijk is en ontvangerpoort vrouwelijk. Dit zou duidelijker in de omschrijving van beide artikelen kunnen staan.

Hiervoor probleemloos met de voorloper van deze set gewerkt. Ivm de verkochte frequenties door de overheid genoodzaakt om vier sets te vernieuwen. Eerst voor deze aanschaf 3 x getest met de Line6 2,4 mhz. Gehoopt dat dit zou werken, maar te veel klachten over de headset zelf en dropouts.
Daarom teruggevallen op deze vertrouwde sets, maar dan nu met de juiste frequenties. Vier sets gekocht voor een dames zanggroep. Als vanouds. Dames zijn zeer tevreden met deze set. De hoofd mic's zitten goed, irriteren niet (in tegenstelling tot de headsets die we van Line6 hadden). De afstand zender - ontvanger is perfect. Geen uitval, afstand kan zonder problemen tot 80 tot 90 meter. De vorige sets hebben we zonder problemen 7 jaar gebruikt. We waren graag op digitaal overgaan, maar het werkte niet goed. Daarom terug gevallen op deze bedrijfszekere sets. Voordeel met de oudere generatie is nu ook, dat deze zenders automatisch worden gescand. Kortom, betrouwbaar, gebruiksvriendelijk en zeker betaalbaar gezien prijs/kwaliteit. We realiseren ons, dat dit een instap model is. Maar dan zeker één van een zeer goede kwaliteit.
Levering door Bax was weer erg goed geregeld. Het is prettig te ervaren dat Bax haar woord nakomt en altijd meedenkt in een goede oplossing. In deze ook even dank voor Stijn Janssen voor z'n tips, meedenken en geduld.
Het zou fijn zijn indien Bax nog met een eigen hoofdmicrofoon set komt onder het merk Devine, maar dan één die betaalbaar is. De mic's van deze set zijn oke hoor, maar het zijn zeker voor zang niet de beste. (begrijpelijk gezien de prijs) Geluid klinkt wat vlak. Met EQ valt het bij te schaven. Maar indien mogelijk willen we nog wel investeren in betere hoofdmic's. (Thomann heeft Tbone, 500). Toch wacht ik, dat Bax zelf met een eigen mic komt.
