General

The Shure BLX14R-P31 is the rack-mountable version of the renowned brand's famous and affordable wireless headset system. This M17 version uses the UHF band between 662 and 686 MHz. It's a highly complete set that comes with a headset microphone, a receiver and a transmitter, and it's excellently suited for public speakers and musicians, for instance. This comfortable headset will keep your hands free, so that you can play an instrument or make notes on a whiteboard.

PGA31 headset microphone

This set includes the PGA31 headset. Its clever design ensures great comfort, while eliminating the worry of whether the microphone will stay securely in place when you move your head. It features a cardioid pickup pattern, meaning feedback doesn't stand a chance, and a TA4F connector that makes it easy to connect the mic to the lightweight bodypack transmitter.

Ease of use

The rack-mountable BLX4R receiver has two external antennas. It uses diversity technology, meaning it's constantly checking which of the two antennas yields the best signal, and switches accordingly. Furthermore, the QuickScan function automatically scans for the best available frequency to switch to. All that's left for you is to make sure your bodypack transmitter is set to the same frequency, and the connection is set up.
