Monacor PA-12040 4-Channel Mono Mixer Amplifier with 4 Zones

General

The four-channel Monacor PA-12040 mixer amplifier provides professional-grade features to control four different zones. A wide array of audio equipment can be hooked up to the four channels and then divided over the four zones so that a four-room system can be set up with separate audio per room. This comprehensive hunk of kit is perfect for department stores or venues with multiple stages.

The Monacor PA-12040: Connections

The PA-12040 comes fitted with three combo jack/XLR inputs for microphones and line level connections, as well as two RCA inputs for line stereo connections. A line output has been included per channel and the voltage can be adjusted up to 100 Volts, the impedance can be set to 8 or 4 Ohms, and the frequency range spans 50 to 17,000Hz. The front panel has also been fitted with an adjustable stereo mini-jack headphone monitoring output.

Operation

The front control panel of the PA12040 has been kept thankfully clean and offers clear controls over the different channels and zones. On the left, five vertical rows of fitted control knobs and buttons per channel include gain, treble, bass level controls, and a large volume knob and mute button. A set of four Zone Selector buttons are also provided per channel so you can very simply select which zone, or zones the specific channel is sent to. Further to the right, sits the headphone output volume control and a visual level display with a VU-meter, while on the far right, a set of individual zone level controls and dedicated VU-meters are provided per zone.
