The AC15HW1 is a fully handcrafted 15W tube amp combo from the VOX Hand Wired series that features two 12-inch Celestion G12M Greenback speakers. This amp features components of the highest quality, thanks to the fact that they were hand-wired by experienced artisans, resulting in a wonderfully transparent, dynamic sound. The AC15 Hand Wired maintains the original character of your guitar and delivers a pure tube sound.

Versatile two-channel design

The AC15HW1 features two individual channels, each with their own High and Low input. For a pure, simple sound you should use the Normal channel, which consists of a volume control and a Bright switch for boosting the high frequencies. The Top boost channel is a little more complex. On the one hand, it is a normal overdrive channel with volume, treble and bass controls. But, it also has a HOT/COOL switch so you can go from a classic VOX sound to a high-gain overdrive. This function can also be activated with the included VFS1 foot switch, which is ideal when you're playing solos and performing.

Practical options in the master section

The power amp is equipped with a separate Tone Cut, and a Master Volume that can be fully bypassed. You can use the Tone Cut to fine-tune high frequencies, and when you want a fat sound at lower volumes you can use the Master Volume. The MV Bypass switch takes the Master Volume completely out of the circuit though, which makes the AC15HW1 react like a classic VOX AC.

Finally, with the OP Mode switch you can lower the power from 15 to 7 Watts so you can enjoy real tube distortion at low volumes.
