Fazers fall between smoke machines and hazers. These devices are part of our smoke machine category and have the same purpose as a smoke machine, which is to make light effects more visible for the most spectacular light show possible. For maximum smoke density you'll want a regular smoke machine, but if this should obstruct viewing too much then a lighter density machine would be better. Fazers create a light mist with the help of smoke fluid and a built-in fan, while a hazer releases extra-misty clouds with hazer fluid. Another difference is that smoke machines produce bursts of fog, while the other two produce a more continuous flow of mist. Keep in mind that hazers don't require any time to warm up, while smoke machines and fazers do.
