The button cell battery is the smallest battery we know and is therefore used in the smallest, most compact devices. Think of watches, hearing aids, toys and calculators, among other things. They are also used in computers for storing the data of the BIOS and the internal clock. There is an exceptionally wide range of different button cells available, and their capacity (expressed in mAh) varies. The voltage of a 9V battery lies between 1.5 and 3 volts.
