If you're looking for your first bass or just looking to save a little cash, then you might want to consider a second-hand bass guitar. As well as an immense array of brand new electric and acoustic basses, we also have an entire section dedicated to second-hand bass guitars.
Looking for a good quality yet cheap electric or acoustic bass?
When you pick up a second-hand bass guitar at Bax Music, you get an instrument that's been carefully checked and tested, and since the condition of every used bass is clearly stated on our site, you can be assured that you know exactly what you're getting. On top of that, when you pick up a second-hand bass, you can also take full advantage of the other perks that Bax Music has to offer.
B-Stock Bass Guitars
Most second-hand bass guitars we offer are B-stock models. These are models that other customers have returned to us - usually because it just wasn't quite the right bass for them. The price of every B-stock bass will include a nice little discount, and will have been thoroughly checked for damage. If a B-stock model has any damage at all, this will be clearly stated on the product page, but most of the time a bass returns to us in practically mint, shop-fresh condition but still saves you a bit of money.
Pick up a left-handed or 5-string bass for a good price
We even have some second-hand and B-stock left-handed and 5-string basses available. Left-handed bassists will quickly spot the 'LH' added to the name of left-handed models, while five-string models are clearly named or easily recognised by the five tuners fitted to the headstock. If you want something a bit different in your bass, then you might be interested in a bass with more out-there body shapes, a bass ukulele, a vintage semi-acoustic bass, or a model with six or even seven strings. Just like our B-stock basses, there's usually only one of each second-hand model available, so you'll need to be quick when you spot the one you want.
