General

This Dingwall Afterburner Z-Series from the early hand-built period is a rare find for the true bass enthusiast. With an alder body and a striking flame maple top, the Honey Amber Burst finish immediately exudes class. The wenge fingerboard and maple neck offer a comfortable playing experience, whilst the fanned fret system ensures tight, deep bass tones and clear highs. Thanks to the two original Dingwall pickups and the 3-band EQ, you have a wide range of tonal possibilities at your disposal. Sheldon Dingwall was personally involved in the construction of this first-generation Afterburner, which is reflected in the meticulous finish and a highly dynamic instrument.
