The stands in this category hold perhaps the most important and versatile instrument of your drum kit: the Snare Drum. The snare must be properly enclosed by the three arms (basket) of the snare stand. Ideally, the basket is adjustable so that you can place the snare at a comfortable angle that suits you. Some stands have double-braced legs which give the snare stand more stability, while larger feet provide it with extra grip.
