In 2013, Gibraltar replaced the 5606 snare stand with the 5706. The 5700 series offers professional characteristics for an affordable price. This medium-heavy snare stand is equipped with three double-braced legs, fitted with Gibraltar's exclusive round rubber feet. No matter how hard you hit your snare drum, this stand will stay securely in place.
Characteristics of the Gibraltar 5706
The Gibraltar 5706 snare stand can be adjusted in height from 45.7 to 63.5 cm. Thanks to the Super Lock height adjustment with ABS insert, direct metal on metal contact is prevented, reducing noise to a bare minimum. The size of the snare basket can be adjusted to suit the diameter of your snare drum, and the basket can be tilted by various degrees thanks to a geared tilter.
