What is a B-stock product?
A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.
B-stock information
The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.
B-stock photos
The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::
- Photo of the brand new product
- Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
- Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
- Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
- Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

General
Part of the modern TRBX Series, the Yamaha TRBX 174 RTB four-string bass comes coated in a dark red, 'Root Beer' finish and packs immense tonal flexibility.
Stable & Powerful
In place of the mahogany body of most TRBX Series models, the Yamaha TRBX 174 RTB bears the outstanding balance and sonic character of an alder body, filling out the acoustic foundation with an even layer of lows, mids, and trebles, while the matching mahogany neck and Sonokelin (Indian rosewood) fretboard add a touch of warmth. The electronic core of this bass is formed by the classic configuration of a standard single coil at the bridge and a split-coil in the middle, delivering an incredibly defined, transparent, and ultimately powerful amplified sound that's wiped clean of any 50Hz hum. Couple that with the contoured body shaping, and you have nothing short of a comfy and versatile modern classic.
