General

With the GP-300BK, Casio has introduced a remarkably chic black digital piano that's a real contender on the digital market. If you're in the market for a digital piano, the feel of the instrument's keys is of the essence. If it's not authentic, you won't get that piano experience you're looking for. Fortunately, the Casio GP-300BK has that covered, featuring both life-like piano keys and ultra-realistic piano pedals. Seat yourself at this gorgeous black instrument, and enjoy that real piano feel. You'll forget you're playing digitally!

Characteristics of the Casio GP-300BK

Sound's important too, of course. For the GP-300BK, Casio was inspired by the tonal qualities of three world-wide renowned grand pianos. With a polyphony of 256 voices, there's no need to worry about dropped notes. Like many other digital pianos, this Casio model offers you a choice of various keyboard playing modes - three, to be precise. Layer mode allows you to layer two sounds on top of each other, while split mode divides the keyboard into two halves, each with its own sound. Duet mode, finally, is particularly suitable for piano lessons. It divides the keyboard into two halves with a similar tone range, so teacher and student can sit and play alongside each other.

Additional Possibilities

Casio has gone to great lengths to keep the sound of the GP-300BK as authentic as possible. Typical factors like closed/open lid, pedal noise and key-off sounds have all been taken into account. Fancy playing in a concert hall? Simply select one of the Casio piano's beautiful reverbs, and you'll imagine yourself there. Would you like to capture your own performance, and maybe make a CD for your friends or family? The Casio GP-300BK allows you to record both MIDI and audio data to a USB stick.
