The neck is made of quarter-sawn maple to provide ultimate stability while the ebony fingerboard is not just smooth and supple but gives the tonality that extra bit of clarity and bite to poke through the mix. To enhance the playing experience further, the neck has been shaped with a compound radius so it feels relatively convex at the nut (12 inches) and gradually flattens toward the bridge (16 inches), making for quick rhythm transfers, excellent action while reducing note-death.
