Bearing the class and playability of a real acoustic kit, the Roland VAD103 V-Drums e-kit features real wooden shells, each fitted with dual-ply mesh heads that more-than-convincingly mimic the bounce and response of a real set of heads. The cymbal pads boast multi-zone triggers and have been weighted to simulate the feel of a genuine slice of bronze. The included VH-10 hi-hat can be mounted on your hi-hat stand of choice, and since it comes as close as it gets to the real thing, your playing technique is supported by full articulation.

The Roland TD-07 V-Drums Module

Twenty-five pre-configured kits come loaded into the TD-07 module and already cater for an array of genres, but if you're left less-than satisfied with what's on offer, simply scroll through the generous bank of 143 hyper-real drum and percussion sounds, build your own bespoke kit from the ground up and save it to one of the twenty-five user kit slots. Customise things further by playing with the built-in equalizer, adding a little Ambience and throwing in some of the on-board multi-effects, and using the integrated Bluetooth function, you can stream tracks from your phone and play along to hone your timing. Via MIDI, this e-kit is also compatible with a number of music apps, including Cubase and Studio One, whether coupled via Bluetooth or USB.
