Geared up with a set of full-sized shells, the compact and elegant, future-thinking Efnote 5 E-Drum Kit seamlessly blends the playability of an acoustic kit with the immense potential of an electronic kit. The EFD-5 sound module features a built-in audio interface that can be plugged directly into a computer to record to a DAW or play with virtual instruments thanks to USB-MIDI support, so this kit comes studio as well as show ready.

Six-Ply Birch Shells

The Efnote 5 is built out of two toms and three cymbals combined with a snare, kick and hi-hat and includes a single tom mount and splash mount. The toms have two trigger zones: the rim and the head, while the snare has an extra rim trigger to support rim clicks. The crash and ride both boast a rim, edge, and bell trigger, have been weighted to mimic the response of real cymbals, and for an electronic kit they're pretty big: a 16 inch crash, an 18 inch ride - and as a sweet bonus effect - an 8 inch splash.

A Full Gigging Kit

Training sessions are backed by the comfort of a full acoustic-style kit and you can even link your phone to the module to play along to backing tracks and tighten up your timing. Scroll through the 17 preconfigured kits or sift through the 128 on-board samples, build a fully custom kit and save it to one of the 83 save-slots provided. The Setlist feature is a definite bonus for gigging drummers, where you can not only compile a list of kits to vary your sound throughout the set, but couple each kit configuration to a specific tempo.
