As a drummer, you sometimes feel you can never get it right: if you buy an expensive electronic drum kit or mesh heads to keep your neighbours happy, they are still bothered by the vibrations on the floor from your bass drum pedal. This DRUMnBASE Sound Stage drum mat offers a possible solution to this. This is because this carpet has a unique, so-called 'floating' design, which more or less isolates your drum kit from the floor with a 1.2 cm thick layer! This will reduce vibrations and vibration quite a bit and therefore your (lower) neighbours might experience less nuisance.

This drum mat has been designed and tested against various ISO standards to really live up to this in practice. Vibrations on the floor under the mat can be reduced by up to 27dB. This also works the other way round: vibrations from other instruments, such as a bass guitar, have less impact on your kettles or microphones attached to it! With a size of 185 x 165 centimetres, this is a substantial drum mat suitable for somewhat larger setups. The mat has a cool Stage Black finish and a solid weight of 17kg.
