General
In 1987, Marshall's Silver Jubilee Series first saw the light. These temporarily available guitar amplifier heads and cabinets - noticeable for their silver-coloured vinyl finish - quickly gained massive popularity. It wasn't long at all before they were sold out, and guitarists have been practically begging for reissues for nearly thirty years. In 2015, Marshall heeded to their call with the 2555X Head reissue, together with two matching 280-watt speaker cabinets, including the Marshall 2551AV Silver Jubilee Angled with slanted front.
2551AV: 4x Vintage 30
The 2551AV is equipped with no fewer than four Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. The Vintage 30 is a speaker known for its loud, pervasive, mid-tone-rich sound with defined bass and sparkling trebles. As the top two speakers are at an angle, the sound is directed at the ears of the guitarist better. Wheels are included, so that this high-quality silver/black cabinet is incredibly easy to transport.
