General

Placing the Auralex SubDude HT isolation pad between your subwoofer and the floor reduces structural vibrations leading to tighter bass with better definition. The SubDude HT is large enough for most home-sized subwoofers and can handle up to 136 kg in weight.

SubDude HT's design

The isolation platform measures 559 x 432 mm and is constructed of a velour-covered MDF plate that sits on top of the 24mm-thick Auralex Platfoam. This combination of materials effectively reduces vibrations to improve the sound of your subwoofer. Colouration and muddy resonance is reduced for more clarity and perceived low-frequency response.

Should've bought this baby a long time ago! Fantastic tight bottom has been restored thanks to this excellent pad. Don't hesitate, even if like me you've got a horribly shaped music room, this Pad will tame that woolly low register and put a HUGE grin on your face - get ready with the air bass & drums!

De subdude heb ik aangeschaft voor in mijn muziekstudio. Ik besef nu datbik dit veel eerder had moeten doen. De bas klinkt een stuk strakker en de omgeving trilt niet meer zo erg. Super effectief!!

De Auralex SubDude HT subwoofer isolatiepad doet wat het belooft!

Het vermindert resonantie die wordt veroorzaakt via de pootjes van de subwoofer waardoor de bas beter klinkt zonder dat meteen de hele woonkamer trilt. Zelf heb ik hem gekocht, omdat ik verhuisde van een huis naar een appartement in een flat en geen ruzie wilde met mijn onderburen. Ik hou er namelijk van om het volume redelijk hard te zetten tijdens een film om een beetje die bioscoop ervaring te hebben. Zo nu en dan vind ik dat ook leuk om te doen tijdens het gamen of tijdens het luisteren van muziek. En dit kon natuurlijk allemaal prima in een vrijstaand huis, maar in de flat was het maar de vraag hoe gehorig het was. Ik heb het nu ongeveer een week en ik zet hem elke dag telkens iets harder om te kijken of ik iets te horen krijg van mijn onderburen zodat ik dan ook weet waar de grens ligt (alvast sorry onderburen :p). Het volume wat ik aan kan zetten zonder problemen te krijgen met de onderburen, is inmiddels al zo hoog dat ik films kijk op hetzelfde volume als ik vroeger deed toen ik in een vrijstaand huis woonde. Prima dus! Thuis zette ik het tijdens films namelijk op volume 20 en ik durfde in het appartement niet hoger dan volume 10 te gaan. Sinds dit ding heb ik het nu zelfs op volume 25 staan zonder problemen. Als vergelijking: vroeger in het vrijstaand huis was het met volume 30 al dat de de lepeltjes in kopjes koffie of thee trilden.

P.s. of ik heb gewoon nog niks gehoord en mijn onderburen haatten mij al een week...
